How to get here
Christopher Coutanceau's three Establishments are very close to each other, just a few minutes from the centre of town and easily accessible by all means of transport.

Arriving by carArriving on foot and by bikeArriving by trainArriving by plane
Arriving from Rochefort, Saintes, Bordeaux
- Once on the ringroad, follow direction Île de Ré until you come to the exit "La Rochelle Centre / Lagord"
- Stay on the left exit lane, until you reach a roundabout with traffic lights
- Take the 3rd exit, direction "La Rochelle" / "Gendarmerie" off the roundabout
- Then follow the itinerary "Arriving in La Rochelle" below
Arriving from Niort, Poitiers, Paris
- Once on the N11, when you arrive in La Rochelle, take the "Ile de Ré" exit
- Continue on La Rochelle ringroad (N237) until you reach the exit "La Rochelle Centre / Lagord"
- Stay on the left exit lane, until you reach a roundabout with traffic lights
- Take the 3rd exit, direction "La Rochelle" / "Gendarmerie" off the roundabout
- Then follow the itinerary "Arriving in La Rochelle" below
Arriving from Luçon, Nantes
- When you reach the roundabout with traffic lights in Lagord, take the 2nd exit, direction "La Rochelle" / "Gendarmerie"
- Then follow the itinerary "Arriving in La Rochelle" below
Arriving in La Rochelle:
- You'll come to a second roundabout, take the second exit leading onto Avenue du 8 Mai.
- Continue along Avenue du 8 Mai then onto Avenue du 11 Novembre 1918 until you reach the roundabout with traffic lights. Take the second exit "Porte Neuve" / "Vieux Port Ouest" off the roundabout
- Continue along Chemin des Remparts, going through 2 sets of traffic lights. After the second set, get in the middle lane and at the next lights, turn right direction "Parking Vieux Port Ouest"
- You've now reached Rue de la Noue, continue along the street and go past the crossroads with traffic lights:
- To get to La Villa Grand Voile Hotel:
- Take the first street on your left, Rue de la cloche
- La Villa Grand Voile is on your left and a delivery parking space is available for you at the hotel entrance when you arrive
- To get to the restaurants:
- Continue along Rue Réaumur, and after Place de la Préfecture, take the 1st street on your right
- Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout
- You've now reached La Concurrence car park, where our restaurants are located
- The Restaurant Christopher Coutanceau private car park is at the very end of the public car park, straight on
- To get to La Villa Grand Voile Hotel:
Important! Please note that the Vieux Port in La Rochelle is now closed to traffic.
- Less than 10 minutes walk and just 4 minutes by bike from the centre of La Rochelle.
- In La Rochelle, bikes are a way of life. The town proposes a host of self-service solutions for renting and borrowing e-bikes and standard bikes.
